From complex manufacturing facilities to historic hotel renovations to food and beverage facilities and everything in between, ARCO took on even the most demanding projects, providing clients with cost-saving solutions and the very best customer experience. Domino's
ARCO National Construction is proud to partner with repeat client Domino’s on a 64,320 SF facility expansion in Ontario, California. The project will more than double the size of the leading pizza chain’s busiest production and distribution center in the nation and will allow Domino’s to service thousands of stores throughout the Western U.S. Once completed, the expansion will include a 31,351 SF dry warehouse, an 11,388 SF -10°F freezer, an 8,317 SF 35°F cold dock, a 7,685 SF 35°F cooler, and a CO2 refrigeration system. This is the third project ARCO and Domino’s have partnered to complete.

Live Nation Entertainment
In 2024, ARCO broke ground on Live Nation Entertainment’s Riverside Amphitheatre, an exciting new 16,000-capacity venue in Riverside, Missouri! In partnership with Blueprint Studios and Generator Studio, ARCO is thrilled to bring this world-class venue to the Kansas City region. Scheduled to open in 2026, Riverside Amphitheatre will host up to 40 annual concerts and community events, welcoming up to 500,000 fans each year. Built on a 165-acre, levee-protected site, the project will feature a 100,000 SF canopy over an auditorium bowl, 6,000 parking stalls, and 13 auxiliary support buildings, including a VIP club, Concession Village, and box office.

Elopak
The ARCO National Construction team is nearing completion on a 297,440 SF manufacturing facility for Elopak, a leading global supplier of carton packaging and filling equipment. Located in Little Rock, Arkansas, the facility will be Elopak’s first U.S. production plant and will feature the latest state-of-the-art technology for better and more efficient production. The facility will be utilized to produce the company’s Pure-Pak® cartons, a complete and flexible packaging system for liquid dairy, juices, plant-based products, and liquid eggs. Project features will include a 205,267 SF production area, an 11,219 SF mezzanine, a 24,534 SF office, six dock positions, and tilt-up construction. More than 100 jobs are expected to be created in the local market.

Pacific 6 | The Breakers Hotel
ARCO National Construction completed the restoration of The Breakers Hotel, a 15-story, turn-of-the century boutique hotel in downtown Long Beach, California. Originally designed by Walken and Eisen, the building opened in 1926 as a luxury oceanfront resort and most recently functioned as a 233-unit congregate care facility. ARCO partnered with Long Beach-based investment firm, Pacific 6, to restore the historic landmark to a AAA, four-diamond boutique hotel. Features include 185 luxury guest rooms and suites, as well as several food and beverage areas, including a 4,000 SF historic sky room bar and restaurant. Located at 210 E. Ocean Boulevard, the historic landmark ranks among the oldest buildings in Long Beach.

RealCold
ARCO National Construction is partnering with RealCold, an affiliate of the New York-based, multi-strategy real estate private equity manager, Related Fund Management (RFM), on a national expansion of its cold storage logistics business. A nationwide leader in the construction of cold storage facilities, ARCO is providing design-build services for the 386,000 and 310,000 SF facilities located in Lakeland, Florida, and Lockhart, Texas, respectively. Features will include state-of-the-art convertible freezer spaces capable of accommodating temperatures -20°F to 50°F, insulated metal panel (IMP) construction, 50’ clear height, and central ammonia refrigeration systems.

Calare Properties | NECI
ARCO National Construction’s New England division completed an 80,000 SF, two-story office renovation for repeat client Calare Properties, Inc. and NECI, an automation and digital transformation solutions provider for the life science, power, food and beverage, and chemical industries. Located within the Foxborough Business Center Park, the office features a two-story foyer, expansive floor plates, high ceilings, and open concept common areas. Servicing as NECI’s corporate headquarters, the property also includes amenities such as a fitness center with locker rooms and a wellness room, game space, full-service cafeteria, and landscaped outdoor space for employee use.

Regent Cold Storage
ARCO National Construction’s Pacific Coast division, based in Irvine, California, recently broke ground on a new 67,160 SF cold storage facility for Regent Cold Storage, a food processor specializing in cooked deli meats and fully prepared frozen foods. Located in Vernon, the state-of-the-art facility will feature a 40,377 SF -10°F freezer, a 6,972 SF dry warehouse, a 1,919 SF 35°F cooler, a 1,914 SF 45°F cooler, and blast freezing capabilities that can cool products from 40°F to 10°F within 48 hours. Additional features of the new facility will include a CO2 refrigeration system, a 45°F cold dock, insulated metal panel construction, and 48′ clear height.

Activate
ARCO National Construction’s Detroit division completed a 12,200 SF live-action gaming facility for repeat client, Activate. Located at 4530 Utica Park Blvd., Utica, MI, the new facility is the first Activate venue in the Detroit region, offering an immersive experience that blends technology, teamwork, and entertainment in a state-of-the-art environment. The gaming facility features 14 individual micro-arenas equipped with specialty LED lighting and electronic flooring. Activate’s Detroit location accommodates all ages and skill levels, allowing guests to explore and create their own unique gaming experiences. ARCO also partnered with Activate on a facility in Kansas City in 2024.

Confidential Global Foodservice Client
ARCO National Construction partnered with a repeat global foodservice distributor client to complete a 147,000 SF cold storage and office renovation project in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. The facility features multiple temperature zones, including a 1,310 SF -15°F ice cream freezer, a 1,982 SF 34°F dough operations space, a 26,256 SF -5°F freezer, a 16,496 SF 34° cooler, a 4,270 SF 45°F cooler, a 4,049 SF 28°F freezer, and a 15,827 SF cold dock. Additional project details include “box-in-a-box” insulated metal panel (IMP) construction, a freon refrigeration system, and a 9,277 SF office.

Camber Development
ARCO National Construction’s New England division completed Phase I of 44 Middlesex, a premier advanced manufacturing campus located in Bedford, Massachusetts, for Camber Development. The two-story facility offers highly flexible and functional advanced manufacturing and biomanufacturing space, including 105,000 SF on the ground floor and a 42,000 SF mezzanine. The completed building is the first of two planned facilities on the 44 Middlesex campus. 44 Middlesex offers functional and flexible features such as 8,600 amps of power, 36’ clear height, six loading docks, robust structural capacity for rooftop equipment and future mezzanine installation, a large outdoor amenity space, and more.

Block Real Estate Services | Faith Technologies, Inc
ARCO National Construction’s Kansas City division partnered with repeat developer client, Block Real Estate Services, to complete a 438,000 SF manufacturing facility for Faith Technologies, an energy expert and national leader in electrical planning, engineering, design, and installation. The facility features tilt-up construction, 36’ clear height, 31 dock positions, and three bridge cranes with 35-ton, 50-ton, and 30-ton capacities. The project represents a growing trend in industrial construction as a shift toward onshoring and a heightened focus on supply chain continues to significantly drive demand for manufacturing space.

Overland Property Group
ARCO National Construction successfully completed Anglers Four Hundred, an 89,180 SF, four-story apartment complex for repeat client, Overland Property Group. Located in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, this award-winning project was recognized as the 2024 Novogradac Development of Distinction for Rural Community Impact, bringing much-needed affordable housing to the area. Anglers Four Hundred features 75 units, ranging from one-to-three bedroom options, serving residents at 30 to 80 percent of the local median income. Indoor amenities include a fitness area, mail center, and community kitchen space. Outdoor amenities include a playground, community garden, and second-floor rooftop patio with a cooking space, seating area, and fire features. ARCO is proud to have been part of this outstanding project.

Weeks Food Corporation
ARCO National Construction’s Detroit division is partnering with Weeks Food Corp., a fifth-generation, family-owned-and-operated wholesale food distributor, to expand the company’s local cold storage facility. The expansion will add 21,515 SF of temperature-controlled space to the company’s current meat distribution facility in Richmond, Michigan. The project will enhance the company’s next-day service of top-quality beef, pork, poultry, seafood, and additional frozen food products while also supplying fresh chicken to KFC and Popeye’s locations across Michigan and Northern Ohio. Once complete, the expansion will include a 10,231 SF 34°F-36°F cooler, a 6,232 SF 36°F cold dock, and a 4,795 SF -10°F freezer.

National Development | Fortune 500 End-Users
ARCO National Construction’s New England division successfully completed two build-to-suit distribution facilities, totaling more than 2.5 million square feet, for National Development and two confidential Fortune 500 end-users. The large-scale facilities are strategically located in the East Hartford Logistics & Technology Park, a 300-acre site providing easy access to major markets, including New York and Boston. With construction occurring simultaneously, ARCO completed both facilities within just 14 months.

Performance Food Group
ARCO National Construction is partnering with repeat client, Performance Food Group, to complete a 92,590 SF foodservice distribution facility expansion in Omaha, Nebraska. The project will feature a -10°F freezer, a 34°F cooler, a cold dock, a 1,970 SF mezzanine, 14 dock positions, and more. ARCO and PFG partnered on 10 projects together throughout 2024.

Banner Real Estate Group
ARCO National Construction’s Pacific Coast division is partnering with Banner Real Estate Group on a 7-story, 166,558 SF self-storage facility in central Los Angeles. The zero lot line construction project is situated on a .56-acre site of a former parking lot in the Koreatown neighborhood, known for the largest concentration of commercial properties in the country. The fully conditioned facility was designed to maximize the value of the minimal site with 139,356 SF of floor space and 107,039 SF of total storage area. Features include a conventional steel structure with exterior insulated metal panels and siding façade, CIDH foundations and subterranean bridge footings constructed over two existing underground metro tunnels, and an 828 SF office.

MilliporeSigma
ARCO National Construction completed a 153,000 SF hazardous storage facility for repeat client MilliporeSigma, a leading life science products and services provider. Located in Allentown, Pennsylvania, the facility features 17 specialty storage spaces with H2, H3, and H4 classifications and cooler space for critical pharmaceutical, vaccine manufacturing, and R&D products. Additional features include 35’ clear height, 15 dock positions, a 6,200 SF office, and load-bearing tilt-up construction.

DHL Supply Chain | Fortune 500 End-User
ARCO National Construction is partnering with DHL Supply Chain and a Fortune 500 world-leading food company on a 603,000 SF cold storage facility in Jacksonville, Florida. Once completed, the facility will feature a 482,560 SF 36°F cooler, over 100,000 SF of dry warehouse space, and a 12,500 SF office. Additional features will include a freon refrigeration system, a layer picker system, 38’ clear height, 64 dock positions, and a solar-ready roof structure. The project will also be pursuing LEED® certification.

Confidential Wine & Spirits Wholesaler
ARCO Beverage Group is partnering with a leading wine and spirits wholesaler to complete a 270,000 SF beverage distribution facility expansion in Las Vegas, Nevada. The project will greatly increase the company’s ability to serve the region with the addition of conditioned warehouse space with state-of-the-art material handling equipment. Additional features will include 45’ clear height, 20 dock positions, and a 1,500 SF receiving office.

Confidential Regional Grocery Retailer
ARCO is partnering with a confidential regional grocery retailer on a 1.4 million SF renovation of an existing Class A industrial building in San Bernardino County, California. The large-scale project will consolidate the company’s operations from multiple facilities to a single location and will include over 800,000 SF of dry warehouse space and more than 500,000 SF of freezer/cooler space.

NorthBridge Partners | Pharmaceutical End-User
ARCO National Construction’s New England division recently partnered with NorthBridge Partners to complete a 396,375 SF warehouse and office project for a pharmaceutical and medical services end-user in Boylston, Massachusetts. The medical products distribution center features over 300,000 SF of warehouse space, a push-pull HVAC ventilation design, 62 dock positions, 36’ clear height, and over 9,000 SF of office space. The strategically located facility serves customers across Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Maine, Vermont, and Eastern Connecticut.

Standard Beverage Corporation
ARCO Beverage Group partnered with repeat client, Standard Beverage Corporation, on an 83,000 SF Class A office and beverage distribution facility. Located in the greater Kansas City area, the facility features a 26,000 SF corporate office, a 57,000 SF ambient warehouse, a 3,000 SF corporate training/hospitality suite, and a 2,800 SF graphics room. Additional features include a conventional steel structure with tilt-up construction, 32’ clear height, a thin brick veneer façade, and a decorative hospitality patio with pergola, fire pits, and stamped concrete.

BlueScope Properties Group | ABF Freight
ARCO National Construction’s Kansas City division completed a 28,330 SF build-to-suit freight terminal facility for ABF Freight in partnership with repeat developer client, BlueScope Properties Group, in Olathe, Kansas. The state-of-the-art facility is the second development in a four-building industrial park in the Olathe Commerce Center. The project features 2,873 SF of office space as well as a 1,296 SF truck maintenance facility, 60 dock positions, and 108 trailer parking spaces.

Confidential Cannabis Company
ARCO completed a state-of-the-art cultivation and greenhouse expansion for a confidential premier, vertically integrated cannabis company in Missouri. The expansion brings the facility to over 94,000 total SF of production and grow room space, greatly increasing the company’s capacity to produce its award-winning products.
