American Icon Brewery

Designed and Built for American Icon Brewery, this project is a 12,300 total square foot craft brewery conversion from a historic diesel power plant.

This 12,300 SF craft brewery project is a unique redevelopment of a historic diesel power plant, skillfully converted into a vibrant, multi-functional brewing destination. The design seamlessly blends the building’s industrial heritage with modern amenities tailored for a high-capacity brewery. Within the facility, a dedicated 2,650 SF fermenting and brite tank area anchors the brewing operations, complemented by a 600 SF dry storage space designed to support production needs efficiently.

Guests are welcomed into a spacious 6,115 SF, two-story tasting room that includes a retail component, inviting patrons to experience the brewery’s offerings firsthand. This gathering area is balanced with a 6,000 SF outdoor patio, providing ample space for guests to enjoy the brewery in an open, inviting environment. Adding to the hospitality features, a 2,935 SF kitchen and support area enhance the experience, allowing for a full-service setup that elevates the tasting experience.

With an impressive 15,000 BBLS production capacity, this brewery is designed to support large-scale production without compromising the guest experience. Delivered through a cohesive design/build process, the project incorporated civil, structural, architectural, and MEP scopes to ensure seamless integration of functionality and aesthetic appeal, preserving the power plant’s historic character while creating a vibrant, modern brewery space.
