ARCO National Construction is building a new 67,160 square-foot cold storage facility for Regent Cold Storage, a food processor specializing in cooked deli meats and fully prepared foods, in Vernon, California. The state-of-the-art facility will feature a 40,377 square-foot -10°F freezer, a 6,972 square-foot dry warehouse, a 1,919 square-foot 35°F cooler, a 1,914 square-foot 45°F cooler, and blast freezing capabilities that can cool products from 40°F to 10°F within 48 hours.

The project is part of Regent Cold Storage’s multistep master plan to develop a cutting-edge cold and dry storage facility. The company plans to move its goods from the freezer at its existing manufacturing plant across the street, utilizing the new state-of-the-art freezer to optimize production, packaging, and efficiency for its business units Rose & Shore, Rite Way Meat Packers, and RBR Meat Co.

Additional features of the new facility will include a CO2 refrigeration system, a 45°F cold dock, insulated metal panel construction, and a 48-foot clear height. Construction is expected to be completed by Summer 2025.
