Designed and built for DHL, this warehouse is a 533,600-square-foot freezer/cooler distribution facility.
This 533,600 SF cold storage facility is designed for large-scale food storage and distribution. The space includes a 432,100 SF dry warehouse and a 127,100 SF area designated for future food preparation and distribution. The facility also features specialized cold storage areas, including a 39,000 SF -10°F freezer, a 19,600 SF 38°F cooler, and a 24,600 SF cold dock.
With 70 dock positions and a 40-foot clear height, the facility is built for high-volume operations, ensuring efficient storage and movement of goods. The integrated pick module and conveyor system streamline order fulfillment, enhancing productivity using automation. An ammonia refrigeration system supports the facility’s temperature-controlled environments, ensuring consistent cold storage for perishable goods.
The facility sits on a 50-acre site, providing ample space for current operations and future expansion. Designed for efficiency and reliability, this cold storage facility is equipped to handle the demands of large-scale distribution and food processing.
