Elizabeth Creek Gateway

PROJECT EXPERIENCE

ELIZABETH CREEK GATEWAY

At ARCO, we view the first project we complete for a client as a stepping stone to a successful, long-term partnership. For more than 25 years we have been fortunate to partner with DHL to construct 32 projects totaling more than 15 million square feet.

Located in Fort Worth, Texas, the Elizabeth Creek Gateway Industrial Park is home to two best-in-class facilities DHL and ARCO partnered to complete, with two additional facilities currently under construction. Situated near Alliance Airport and designed with e-commerce tenants in mind, these speculative developments offer over 2,300,000 square-feet of premier industrial space in the heart of one of the country’s fastest-growing warehouse and industrial markets.

Despite an atypical amount of rainfall, ARCO’s extensive experience in industrial construction allowed for buildings A and B to be completed ahead schedule – just 9 months from project start to owner turnover. We are excited to continue construction on buildings D and E with completion expected in spring 2021.

In addition to constructing the original facilities, our deep portfolio of tenant improvements, renovations and retrofits makes ARCO uniquely qualified to adapt the spaces offered at Elizabeth Creek Gateway to meet the specific needs of end-users, regardless of project complexity or scale.

“The ARCO team performed exceptionally well in many areas including pre-construction planning, estimating, design, permitting, scheduling, procurement, quality, safety, closeout, reporting, communications, and maintaining excellent relationships with all project stakeholders.

Despite the unusually high amount of rainfall during the project, ARCO completed the projects ahead of schedule and within their budgets by implementing pro-active solutions such as careful activity sequencing, increased workforce when needed, lime stabilization, flowable fill, and working every opportunity that the weather permitted. ARCO’s experience, creativity, and team approach resulted in collaborative and timely decisions and actions needed to keep this project on track.

I really appreciate the tremendous efforts and positive attitudes of the ARCO team members (and those behind the scenes) on these projects and congratulate ARCO National on another successful project for DHL.”
