Designed and Built for Scannell Properties, the Five Below warehouse is a 858,000 total square foot automated distribution facility.
This 858,000 SF distribution facility utilizes durable and efficient tilt-up construction. Designed for streamlined operations, the facility incorporates an automated material handling system with conveyors and catwalks, ensuring efficient product handling and movement throughout the space. With 161 dock positions and two drive-in doors, the facility is equipped to handle high-volume shipping and receiving operations, minimizing delays in loading and unloading.
The warehouse is fully conditioned to maintain optimal climate control, ensuring a consistent environment for both products and personnel. A 40-foot clear height allows for increased vertical storage capacity, maximizing the use of available space and enabling high-density storage solutions. To ensure safety and compliance, the building is equipped with an Early Suppression Fast Response (ESFR) sprinkler system, providing a high level of fire protection.
The facility also features an 11,600 SF main office, a 7,300 SF shipping and receiving office, and a 4,400 SF e-commerce office, each designed to support specific functions within the distribution process. This combination of advanced infrastructure and strategic design elements results in a highly efficient, functional, and safe distribution center.
