Designed and Built for Frank B. Fuhrer Wholesale, this project is a 350,440 total square foot beverage distribution facility.

This 350,440 SF beverage distribution facility is a state-of-the-art project designed to streamline operations while incorporating advanced functionality. The facility includes 211,647 SF for Controlled Environment Warehousing (CEW), a 29,783 SF draught cooler, and a 28,666 SF office space. Additional areas such as a 26,522 SF drive-thru, 21,833 SF ambient warehouse, and 14,356 SF point-of-sale area support comprehensive distribution and retail needs.

Specialized spaces include an 8,680 SF truck maintenance building, a 4,290 SF dunnage canopy, and facilities for repackaging, forklift storage, and draught repair. Constructed with tilt-up concrete and insulated metal panel box-in-a-box systems for temperature control in the draught cooler, the building boasts a 36’ clear height for optimized storage capacity. The design incorporates a continuous dock pit with vertical levelers at receiving docks and individual T-pits with vertical levelers at outbound docks to ensure smooth logistics.

The project also features modern amenities such as a training room with an operable partition, a fitness room, and a fuel island with diesel and unleaded options. Recognized for excellence, this facility was honored with the 2024 CoStar Impact Award for Commercial Development of the Year in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
