Designed and built for DHL, the Johnson & Johnson warehouse is a nearly 1-million-square-foot pharmaceutical distribution facility.
This 970,900 SF pharmaceutical distribution facility was successfully completed in just 6.5 months from groundbreaking to TCO. The facility includes a 943,000 SF fully conditioned warehouse, specifically built to handle sensitive pharmaceutical products. The warehouse has designated areas for H3 storage and aerosol storage, ensuring compliance with industry regulations for handling hazardous materials.
The building also includes two office spaces, measuring 14,700 and 13,200 SF, providing administrative and operational support to the large-scale facility. Additionally, there is a third-party packaging area to facilitate product packaging before distribution, improving supply chain efficiency.
The warehouse offers a 40-foot clear height, allowing for maximized vertical storage and operational flexibility. With 97 dock positions, the facility supports high-volume shipping and receiving, while the four drive-in ramps provide additional accessibility for various types of deliveries and shipments.
Constructed using a combination of precast and conventional steel, the building is designed for durability and long-term performance. This distribution center is engineered to support high-performance operations while maintaining a strict adherence to industry regulations, making it an ideal solution for large-scale pharmaceutical logistics.
