Designed and Built for Molina Healthcare, this project is a 26,170 total square foot LEED Gold certified active data center.
This 26,170 SF data center, certified to LEED® Gold standards, delivers efficient performance with a 6-megawatt power capacity and is strategically designed for future scalability to 12 megawatts. As a highly secure and sustainable facility, it features 10,300 SF of 30-inch raised flooring in the computer room to support optimal underfloor cooling and organized cabling, enhancing both energy efficiency and infrastructure maintenance. Key elements of the build include sophisticated mechanical and electrical systems tailored to accommodate seamless growth.
To ensure uninterrupted power and high reliability, the data center operates with a fully redundant electrical system, receiving primary service at 12,470 volts. This setup offers comprehensive backup and continuity for critical operations, essential in an active data environment. Additionally, the project team expedited the installation of 19,800 linear feet of underground duct bank conduit over a span of just two days, a crucial element that sustained ongoing construction without compromising operational integrity.
Completed in three distinct build-outs, the data center’s development maintained full operational functionality throughout each phase. Security was reinforced with advanced access control systems, providing layers of defense for high-priority data handling. This facility’s design exemplifies both scalability and resilience, meeting current demands while accommodating future growth requirements.
