Designed and Built for Eastvale Self Storage, this project is a 156,000 total square foot, 4-story self storage facility with a LEED Gold certification.
This four-story, 156,000 SF self-storage facility is a high-performance Class A building designed for both efficiency and sustainability. It includes a 1,300 SF office for on-site management and a spacious 2,700 SF fan-cooled loading bay with 14-foot clearance, accommodating larger vehicles for easy loading and unloading. The building offers 17 exterior drive-up units, providing direct access for added convenience.
Architecturally, the facility combines durability and visual appeal, featuring a mixed facade of split-faced concrete masonry units (CMU), masonry veneer, stucco, EIFS, and Hardie board siding. A custom mural by California artist Maxfield Bala, showcasing the area's rich history in dairy farming, greets visitors at the entrance, creating a sense of local identity and charm.
Sustainability is a key focus, as the facility is LEED Gold Certified. Its robust alternative energy system, with over 558 solar panel modules producing 223 KW, significantly offsets energy costs. Sustainable features include low-flow faucets and low-emitting material finishes to reduce environmental impact. Additionally, designated electric vehicle (EV) parking spaces near the entrance encourage green transportation options, supporting the facility’s eco-friendly mission.
