CANNABIS CULTIVATION FACILITY IN ST. LOUIS, MO
Designed and built for LSL Management, this project is a 58,650-total-square-foot cannabis cultivation facility.
This 58,650 SF cannabis cultivation facility was designed to optimize year-round production and maximize efficiency with advanced greenhouse technology. It includes a 49,000 SF climate-controlled greenhouse cultivation area with a triple-peak truss roof system, enabling better air circulation and light distribution. The greenhouse’s climate control system provides year-round crop growth through programmable settings for lighting, HVACD (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Dehumidification), light deprivation, roof vents, and irrigation, all managed via an integrated horticultural control system.
An augered pier foundation supports the greenhouse, ensuring stability and durability. Adjacent to the cultivation area is a 9,200 SF pre-engineered metal building dedicated to office and processing space supported by a 3,000-amp electrical service. The facility is equipped with a dehumidification system capable of removing 1,500 gallons of water daily, critical for maintaining optimal humidity levels within the greenhouse.
To support the operational infrastructure, 800 feet of public storm sewer has been installed for efficient water management. For secure storage, a reinforced vault is incorporated for safe handling of harvested products. This facility leverages state-of-the-art technology and sustainable design principles to support high-quality cannabis cultivation and efficient processing.
