Designed and built for Reinhart Foodservice, this warehouse is a 83,700-total-square-foot freezer/cooler distribution facility expansion.

This 83,700 SF expansion of an existing foodservice distribution facility is designed to enhance storage capacity, streamline operations, and support future growth. The expansion includes a 26,960 SF -10°F freezer and a 7,930 SF perishable dock, optimizing the facility's handling of refrigerated goods by improving loading and unloading efficiency.

A 40,560 SF dry warehouse expansion provides additional space for non-refrigerated storage, while the 5,310 SF office expansion creates room for administrative functions, allowing the facility to manage larger operational demands. The project also includes a 2,960 SF maintenance expansion, ensuring proper upkeep of equipment and infrastructure, which is crucial for long-term performance.

Constructed using insulated metal panels (IMP), the facility maintains energy efficiency and durability. The 60-mil TPO roof system adds to the building’s insulation and weather resistance, ensuring long-term reliability. The ammonia refrigeration system is designed to meet the increased demand for cold storage, providing an efficient and environmentally friendly solution for maintaining low temperatures in the freezer and perishable areas.

This comprehensive expansion strengthens the facility’s ability to handle high volumes of both perishable and dry goods, making it a more versatile and efficient distribution hub. By adding specialized spaces for cold storage, office operations, and maintenance, the project supports improved functionality and future scalability for foodservice distribution.
