Designed and built for SLCC, the Feel State Dispensary is a 2,500-total-square-foot medical marijuana dispensary renovation.

This 2,500 SF retail building renovation has transformed the structure into a secure, highly functional medical marijuana dispensary that meets both regulatory standards and customer expectations. Key security enhancements include a sophisticated electric strike access control system featuring card readers and remote monitoring capabilities. This setup enables secure entry management and ensures all facility access points are monitored continuously. The addition of a Ready-Access 603 bulletproof drive-through window supports safe, efficient customer transactions, particularly for clients who prefer contactless service options.

Inside, the design opens up to exposed ceilings with R-38 roof insulation directly under the deck, contributing to better temperature regulation and energy efficiency. For product security, a fortified vault and fulfillment center with expanded metal reinforcement offers secure storage, aligning with strict regulatory compliance standards for product handling and storage.

To create a premium shopping experience, an upgraded retail lighting package was installed, designed to highlight products effectively and create a welcoming atmosphere. The exterior of the building received an elastomeric repaint, which not only modernizes the appearance but also adds durability to withstand various weather conditions. This comprehensive renovation was completed within an accelerated schedule, demonstrating an effective collaboration between construction management, design teams, and the client to deliver a dispensary that emphasizes both security and customer convenience.
