This new project will repurpose a former Costco-occupied property, transforming it into a modern, strategically located facility that will serve as a vital hub for the region’s growing retail and distribution needs.
The 13.6-acre site is uniquely positioned for adaptive reuse, with the former Costco building offering a large, open floor plan with ample clear heights and parking space. These features make the property ideal for a neighborhood fulfillment center, which requires space efficiency and accessibility—two key factors for potential tenants in the land-constrained Seattle metropolitan area.
The project will include the demolition of two existing buildings and the repurposing of a former retail facility into over 95,000 SF of warehouse space. The facility will also feature a 3,083 SF office, six dock positions, and extensive car and trailer parking.
The property’s prime location in Lakewood offers convenient access to major transportation routes, including Interstate 5 and Pacific Hwy SW, as well as direct connections to surrounding densely populated communities. This strategic positioning ensures quicker, more efficient service to local consumers, making it an attractive site for high-end retail distributors looking to enhance their logistics operations in the region.
