Suncoast Community Health Centers

COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTERS THROUGHOUT FLORIDA

ARCO has designed and built 7 projects totaling 142,360 square feet for Suncoast Community Health Centers in Dover, Ruskin, Plant City, Brandon, and Tampa, Florida.

ARCO's partnership with Suncoast Community Health Centers consists of seven projects totaling approximately 142,000 SF, including multi-story and one-story build-to-suit facilities with mezzanines. One project involved a 12-phase renovation and expansion to maintain operations during construction, showcasing precise planning and execution. Structural highlights include fluted masonry walls, pre-engineered steel framing, masonry exterior walls with stucco finishes, and steel-framed second floors and roofs.

Innovative features include underground stormwater retention systems, custom aluminum canopies, and comprehensive medical gas services. These facilities support diverse medical services, such as dentistry, pediatrics, adolescent life skills, pharmacy, optometry, family medicine, women’s health, x-ray/diagnostics, and internal medicine. Additionally, a medical training center renovation included specialized training suites, classrooms, a computer lab, office spaces, and a student breakroom, complemented by a new exterior lounge patio.

Each project integrates state-of-the-art mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring long-term performance and sustainability. These facilities reflect a commitment to creating accessible and modern healthcare environments, tailored to the specific needs of their communities.
