Tierpoint

TIER 3 DATA CENTER IN MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO

Designed and Built for Tierpoint, this project is a 23,350 SF Tier 3 data center and office build-out.

This ±23,350 SF Tier 3 data center and office build-out is designed for optimal reliability, with ±14,600 SF dedicated solely to data server space. To ensure continuous power, the facility features dual 3000 AMP, 480/277V electrical services dedicated to office and data center operations. Two robust 2,000 kW backup generators with 7,500-gallon fuel tanks support long-term functionality during power interruptions, reinforcing this center's commitment to sustained operation even in challenging conditions.

Safety measures include a pre-action dry-system installed across all data center and electrical rooms, which only activates as needed, protecting critical equipment from potential water damage while offering fire safety. Within the data center, an engineered structural grid ceiling provides secure, adaptable support for heavy server and infrastructure equipment, while the installation of high-efficiency LED lighting ensures both energy savings and excellent visibility throughout the facility.

This facility was constructed with resilience and efficiency in mind, prioritizing sustainability and functionality through every design element. From the flexible support of the structural ceiling grid to the high-capacity backup power solutions, this data center exemplifies a purpose-built environment geared toward meeting the demanding requirements of modern data storage and operational continuity.
